VME bus
Information
one of the most flexible busses I know of is the VME bus. anyone here worked with it, ( I'd love to see a reasonable priced prototyping system for it )

Comment by William Lovell on August 10, 2009 at 10:12pm - Worked with the first pass of VME for 10 years. There were better buss out at that time but VME was embedded into to places to displace. Not sure what you want for reasonable pricing. We developed with 3 cards and a cage/backplane.
