I get the impression that the only way to develop software for this device is using Freescale's CodeWarrior IDE. Is that correct? I was going to purchase one of these but if I can't develop using gcc & gdb I'm not going to even consider it.

Thanks Engine_Ear, I think that answers my question. To me it looks like the tower is a pretty neat product and eventually I'd like to get one but I think until someone has figured out how to cross compile using gcc and an arm tool chain I'll stick with my ts7200.
