Cute. "The bandsaw option" ?

Miter saw. Band saw probably would have been safer, but I don't own one.

Novel, I thought going bigger was an option but smaller could fit in all sorts of places.

I want to mount this on an RC car chassis of mine. Replace the serial card with a motor control card. Would you know where I might get one of those? :)

Good job John, all fingers in tact? Only pitfall I see is the lack of A side expansion connector. A redesign for 2 slots could probably fit it back in, but this is a good option if you have completed your debugging and want to fit it in tight place. I have a gas powered R/C truck that could use some brains for diagnostics. Be cool to use accelerometer to log the ride!! Plus use the on-chip temp sensor on the MCF51CN to log that too. I gets hot!!! I could use a WiFi or ZigBee module to transmit the diagnostic data real-time or the Memory module to record to SD card.

You could use the A side expansion connector it's just the other half's of the cut pieces. I could actually just buy another MCF51CN for $35 and make myself two tower's. Anyways, if you do it that way you lose the USB on the Elevator..which isn't a biggie because it is on the MCU card.
