embedded coldfire linker error!!!!!!!
This is the error i got when trying to compile the telnet demo
"Error : Unable to use the plugin "Embedded ColdFire Linker". It is licensed and a valid license key was not found.
License server does not support this feature

I was working on CW Evaluation version previously, which came with the tower. I aquired a new license from freescale.
Please somebody help !!!

Joey and I worked the resolution offline. Wanted to update the community.
When you acquire a Suite license from Freescale you get the option to choose from any of the CodeWarrior Targets such as CodeWarrior for HCS12, CodeWarrior for DSP, CodeWarrior for 55x, CodeWarrior for Coldfire and so forth..
The Tower 51CN is a ColdFire v1 part which uses "CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers". Since the advent of ColdFire v1 that particular IDE grew out of what was formerly named "CodeWarrior for HC(S)08". So you might find pockets of places in the system that still refer to it by it's old name.
Just to clear it all up.
CodeWarrior for ColdFire = Coldfire v2,v3,v4
CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers = HCS08 and ColdFire v1 targets. (But you might see it incorrectly called by CodeWarrior for HC(S)08)
How can I tell if I have a Coldfire v1,v2,v3,v4? It's all in the numbers..
MCF51 - The one indicates v1
MCF52 - Two = v2
MCF53 - Three = v3

yes it happen the same to me i was modifiying the licence because i dont have a valid one and foun this in the original

and i modify to this

but still not works at the begining say that i cant compile that amount of data then i modify here
1024 to VENDOR_STRING="32768 bytes of C code,
and it beggins to work but i have the same error.
if you open your licence with wordpad what it says can you post it here?
